Description
The Medici Lever is a masterpiece of design that pays homage to the artistic legacy of the Medici family during the Italian Renaissance and honors the Italian tradition of lost wax bronze casting. With its intricately detailed scroll and upward slanted grip, this lever showcases a blend of timeless elegance and historical richness.
Rooted in an ancient practice in which a bronze sculpture is cast from a wax model. The wax model is dipped in a slurry of silica, then more ceramic material is added, creating thick walls around the template. At this point, the wax is melted out of the ceramic and you are left with an empty ceramic mold. Molten bronze is then poured into the ceramic mold, creating a bronze reproduction of the original wax model.
Passage Features
- Passage levers do not have an internal locking mechanism. To be paired with a deadbolt for an exterior door, or on an interior door that doesn't require privacy. Great for a walk-in linen closet.

- Complete set includes standard rotation latch and strike plate.
- Standard latch is for 2 3/8” backset. Specify 2 3/4” backset if required.
- Fits doors between 1 3/8” - 2 1/4" thick with a 2 1/8" bore standard door prep.
Privacy Features
- Privacy levers include a locking mechanism, usually in the form of a small push pin lock on the side of the lever. Perfect for use on bedroom and bathroom doors where locking is needed.

Dummy Features
- Dummy sets have no latch and require no bore hole. They are surface mounted to the door.
- Often used in conjunction with a passage or privacy set for double or french doors.
- This is a dummy "set", so it comes with both the interior and exterior handles.
Concealed Fastener Features
- Concealed Fastener Mechanism provides a clean look with no visible screws on the rosettes.
- Handing not required
- Leverset supplied with 28º rotation latch and dust box. The 28º latch (vs the standard 45º latch), requires less rotation to disengage the latch and open a door when compared to standard latches.
- Door thickness for CF Mechanism is 1 3/8” to 1 3/4”
